"The Lion", by Elix

             The Lion

He is the unique king of the jungle
His mane is like an afro, in disguise
His fur ripples like the sea surface
He walks steadily through the open field
Eyes locked on his prey.

"The Dream", by Hector

The Dream

I dreamt of something cool,
I dreamt of a perfect school,
I dreamt of another rhyme,
Rhyming with cool,
I dreamt that the clouds could be eaten like cotton candy,
I dreamt of finally being lucky,
I dreamt of never loosing my pen,
I dreamt of having an army of men,
I dreamt of the science teacher never saying “Forum!”,
I’ve dreamt of finally ending this poem.

"Winter Hooves", by Emilio

Winter Hooves.

Like a living legend,
The majestic creature,
Gallops with the frozen wind.

Curious, he softly  spies
On the marvelous moon.
Like a knight, he fights the dark
Ignoring the shadows.
As darkness spies on him,
The deep forest slowly leaves
As comes the death of Spring.

The white horse ends his quest,
Blowing harmless snow.

"The Sea", by Maëlle

The Sea

The waves crash on the sandy seashore
And when a thin layer foam dissolves, there is more.
The blue of the sky and the blue sea meet,
The difference is weak.
The wind on the beach is rising,
My skirt is dancing.

"The Snake", by Elio

The Snake

He crawls sneakily in the jungle,
Trying to find an insect bundle,
But it is hard to live chased by the eagle.
Everything for him is bigger than a giant,
In the face of danger he is defiant,
He whispers all the time and SSS… he is silent.

"Horses", by Louise

Horses

They run in the blazing sun
They copy the horse in front
They come in millions of sizes and colours
But all of them run when danger comes.

The oldest protects the herd
They eat the fresh grass
They all protect each other's foals
But all of them run when danger comes.

The foals beat the odds.
The water falls.
They roll over and play.
But all of them run when danger comes.

"The Wolf", by Emilio

The Wolf

Peeking through the bushes of the forest,
The beast spots it with beady eyes and pushes through the woods,
The unwarned prey eating eating,
Is struck with such force, it lays bleeding,
And the floor is stained.

"The Law of the Jungle", by Paolo

The Law of the Jungle

When darkness grows light dies
In blackest night
Nothing shall escape its sight
With its rage and hate
It will kill, and that is your fate
With its claws it will tear your flesh
It will rip through meat that is fresh
You won t win the fight
Beware of the black panther's might

"A Poem about Summer", by Sirine

A Poem About Summer

Summer,Summer
The big ball shining bright
Summer,Summer
Full of freedom and delight

School,
You're done
We have no rules
In summer,
We can act like little cool fools.

"Valentine's Day", by Alexandre

Valentine's Day

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Jasmines are white
Apples are juicy
Sugar is sweet
But not as sweet as you.

"The Titanium Ninja", by Alexander

                    The Titanium Ninja

He is born as a robot but built for justice.
He and his ninja friends never give up
He destroys the dark lord and sacrifices himself
Turning into a titanium bot
He proved today his courage and perseverance
And is ready for his next menace.

"The Terrors of War", by Abdul

                                                                                                                                                                                                                    The Terrors of War

When the war stings
When the fire spreads its wings
Creations travel east to west
With one destiny, death.
Who calls this "art"?
How does this start?

"Little Black Dress", by Gamila

Little Black Dress

Little Black Dress
Just walked into the room
Making heads turn
They can't stop looking at you

You're not right
You're not light
You're a horrible sight

Little Black Dress
Came in here alone
It's too late, too late
Too late to go home

You're not right
You're not light
You're a horrible sight

All the white dresses
Disgrace and misplace
Because your type
Isn't allowed in this place

But Little Black Dress
Don't lose your dignity
You are the only one
Who holds the key.

"The Giraffe", by Karl

The Giraffe

With its tall neck,
It likes to read about Steinbeck,
While going on a trek.

While it is walking,
It always likes talking,
Awakening its feelings.

Karl Assily

The Sailing Ship, by Augustin

The Sailing Ship

The magestic boat sails
Following imaginary trails
On the azure blue crawling sea
No land, nothing that we can see

The wind fills the sail
Dancing like a whale
Already far from the pier
The boat gently disappears
Shining like a diamond
Below the horizon.

"The Dream", by Ines and Kayan

The Dream

 It is the dream,
The dream of a lifetime,
Where we fly high and touch the sky
As high as the eye can see
Where no man would want to be
But in the dream, where the world is free
You can glide infinitely

Just like a bird
Reaching for joy
High up in the mountains of the North
Drifting from the wind
Towards the end
Suddenly, you wake up
Thinking about that bird
Who was let free
By the kindness of the dream.

It is the dream
Where freedom is the crime scene.

"Owls of the Night", by Karen

Owls of the Night

Owls of the night
Owls burning bright
With big eyes yet small feet
Searching for something to eat
Peacefully sitting
Calmly dreaming
One finds a little mouse
Next to a haunted house
And like a sneaky tiger,
It attacks it like fire

"The Earth", by Luna-Lou

The Earth

People pollute the earth,
They forget what it is worth,
Animals suffer,
They feel anger,
Don't cut a tree,
Let it be,
Don't kill animals,
They are true marvels,
People pollute the earth,
They forget what it is worth,
Animals are living beings,
Care about their feelings,

So let them be.

"King", by Delia

     King

Show your rays
For some praise
Raise your head
Because you led
All of the forest
So you need some rest.

"The Noble Dragon", by Hamed.

The Noble Dragon.

Mighty beast,
From north, south, west or east,
With claws of iron,
And fangs of crimson,
Breath of fire,
And wings to aim higher,
Shape of lizard or snake,
Wyvern or drake,
More majestic than a stallion,
The noble dragon.

"The Cheetah", by Karim

The Cheetah.

As the cheetah attacks, the gazelle starts to run
It’s a cruel animal, it’s doing this for fun!

It chases the poor animal.
In a race, it is unbeatable

At the end of the day,
As the prey is eaten by the beast,
The animal and his friends are having a feast.

"The Honey Bunny", by Aya

The Honey Bunny.

He is so funny
Because he is a bunny!
Who loves honey
Just like my mummy!
He just loves the idea of honey jumping and dancing in his tummy
He is such a honey bunny.
